Our award-winning bread is made with a mix of certified organic wheat (where possible, from NZ) and ancient grain, Spelt. Nutrient-dense and easily digested, our bread is perfect for sandwiches and makes terrific toast! It freezes well too.

We use a tiny amount of yeast and let the dough rise nice and slowly using a pre-ferment called pâte fermentée (similar to sourdough) to maximise flavour and health benefits.

We are stocked at Chantal Shop in Napier and Cornucopia Organics in Hastings every Monday, Wednesday & Friday. And in Central Hawkes Bay: The Waipawa Organic Grocer every Monday & Friday

Organic additive-free ingredients:

  • unbleached wheat & wholegrain flours grown in the South Island and milled locally (folate free)
  • unbleached Spelt flour
  • unrefined NZ sea salt
  • filtered water
  • sesame seeds
  • natural yeast
